Welcome to Gifted Education Services

This year, the two district elementary gifted intervention specialists will be working with principals, teachers, parents and gifted students in seven elementary buildings to maximize learning. The two junior high gifted intervention specialists will serve identified gifted math students in 6th grade in an Impact Math course as well as teach regular classroom 6th grade math. In 7th and 8th grade, the highly gifted students who meet the stringent criteria will be placed in Science and Language Arts Plus courses, taught by highly qualified teachers. Students who meet criteria will be placed in accelerated math classes beginning in 6th grade.

  • Select “Department of Instruction” from the drop down box on the left
  • Click on “Gifted”
    • Select “Elementary Services” or “Junior High Services”
