Medina City Schools Foundation

The Medina City Schools Foundation was established in 1984 to support and enhance learning opportunities for the students in the Medina City School District.  The Foundation is a private organization, not directly affiliated with the school board or the school adminstriation.  It is incorporated under Ohio laws as a non-profit organization and is funded by fund raising events and private donations.

The Mission of the Medina City Schools Foundaiton:

  • Create opportunities for special and advanced study
  • Endow programs that support school curricula
  • Help sustain and enhance the Medina City Schools' tradition of excellence in education
  • Provide scholarships for students
  • Provide college access services to the community of Medina

 


Important Dates

The Foundation holds a number of fund raising events throughout the year.  These events help to provide the funds that allow the Foundation to provide classroom grants, support staff awards, sponsor the Joyce B. Ebner Volunteer Tutoring Center, offer GAP grants to high school graduates, sponsor the HUDDLE/SHUDDLE programs which provide peer mentoring to fourth and sixth grade students.
